Ron is the tool man and loves to develop plans and methods to make things as easy as we can on our aging bodies! He is an engineer by profession and likes to "Binford 3000" everything he does. His talents in operating heavy machinery have been crucial for what we've done to develop and beautify our property.

Emily loves gardening fruits, vegetables, and flowers. She takes pride in preserving anything she can during the bumper crop seasons so that we can enjoy our home-grown goods all year long.

Mickey never disappoints for a laugh and entertainment. An Australian Shepherd, he loves the wide open space we have for him to run around. He often thinks he can drive the tractor or gator, and loves his job as lead lookout when we are out in the gardens.
About Us
Our Story
We acquired this property in 2021 with the intention of making the property into our dream homestead. We spent many of our initial days clearing brush and determining the best location for our home and pole barn. By 2023, we were able to move into our beautiful new home and begin living our dream.
Maple Syrup
We have done very small, personal use batches of syrup for years. But when we realized how many maple trees we had on our 25 acre property, we knew we had to share the wealth! That's why in 2026 (just recently), we started harvesting larger amounts of sap so that we could begin producing more for our local community.
What's Next?
We have been dabbling with using some other portions of our property to grow selective plants and produce, and will share those developments when we feel we're ready. Stay tuned!
